Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, and educator for St. Thomas University. Her father comes from Britain as does her mother, who is an "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at her job. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth. Anna relocated to Toronto in Ontario for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually relocated in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. Anna was converted to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and the couple renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted in CNN's list of all-time most viewed Television Couples and was named the top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's social media following grew after the success of her TV show.
