Walker has graduated from Germantown Friends School located within Philadelphia's Germantown district in the year 1994. She then attended Harvard College, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts degree. Welker is happily married for more than 20 years with John Hughes who is a famous marketing director at Merck Philadelphia. They are parents to two kids. They began an affair in 2014.
